A new variation was added to skirt the pendulum pitch; X# of bolts placed on this pitch. Several pitons were fixed to increase safety for free climbers; Mikey requests aid climbers leave these in place so free climbers can simply walk up to the route and safely climb it. However, he acknowledges it will be up to the traditionalists to decide if they can tolerate safe free climbing on a classic aid line.
